This is my second Anker PowerCore. I love having the security of all my mobile electronics being easily recharged regardless of where I am. My Galaxy phone has a limited battery life when I am actively on it and I have found myself out and about with no charging capabilities for the last time. I bought a second so that I would always have one in my purse. I keep one of the PowerCores charging overnight so I don’t ever have to be without. This new one is slightly larger and heavier so it is better for long travel. Can easily watch movies on my Kindle when traveling on a plane or waiting in an aurport…not always trying to jockey for positions in airports with recharging stations, and don’t worry that some evil person has installed something on public charging stations to rip off my info. Hotels that don’t have a plug by the bed? Not a problem any more. Safety in having my phone right by me at night when on the road is important to me. This was a great buy for increased peace of mind.

This is a very good power bank and an excellent value. Charging it is accomplished by a micro USB input on the top of the unit. There are 4 blue LED indicator lights on the unit that show the level of charge and they turn off when a full charge is reached. The reserve capacity is incredible for the physical size of the unit and should run any current smart phone for a couple days off almost non stop high draw use. A lot of us use our phones as camera and camcorder replacements when on the go and this unit provided ample power to take as much video and shoot as many pictures as a person could manage in a day. Highly recommended and very happy with purchase.

Great battery. I prefer this over the 20100 due to size and weight. I have both and I find myself using this one 95% ofthe time.***NOT CHARGING PROPERLY SOLUTION***I have this battery and have used it countless times. The issue for those that have charging issues seems to be the output of the charger itself. In my experiences, if you use a low output charger it does not charge well. If you use a high output charger, you will be fine. Use an anker cable for best results.

Worked really well for a year and a half, and then recently, while plugged in overnight, the connection between the cable and battery melted. Major inconvenience while traveling overseas.Update: Anker speedily resolved the issue for me by replacing the battery, and followed up to make sure the replacement arrived and was working. They also seem to take great care in trying to discover what caused the issue in the first place, with photos and diagnostic questions, and had an engineer involved in the issue. It appears my issue was a fluke. I remain a big fan of Anker, and use many of their other products.

This thing is so damn reliable. I bought it in preparation for an 8 day Hawaii vacation where I’d be out and about the entire day doing tours and activities. It was there when I needed it, especially when I used my phone to take lots and lots of pictures so that drained my battery very quickly. I could even charge my fiances phone too!!! Whenever I remembered that this thing had TWO connections I gave myself a pat on the back and made a mental note to write a five-star review for this when I got back from Hawaii. Now this is an essential item in my purse as well and I don’t go anywhere without it. Anker is so amazing and they have gained a loyal customer.

This portable charger was a life saver! Bought to use for a week-long family trip to Southern California. We spent over half our trip at Disneyland and Universal Studios using the apps for each theme park to maximize our fun and taking lots of a pictures, also used phone for navigation to and from places. Between the app and the pictures I had to charge my phone twice a day while at the park (we did the full experience sun-up to closing!), and this charger was excellent. Super fast charging time, even while actively using the phone. The indicator lights were super helpful, but we never used more than 1/2 the charge in 2 days at a time. We used it on an hour-long car trip navigating from Anaheim to East San Diego County, the phone screen was on the whole time for navigation and we took a phone call during that time, and it still had the phone fully charged before we got there. Small size was great, I carried the charger & a cord in my small purse. We only charged it every couple days or so, just plugged it in at night and it was full by the morning, but again it was only 1/2-way depleted. As a high school teacher, I will be using the charger this year as a way to charge my phone while still locked up in my closet, while doing my workout after school, or even on the drive home as it is waaaaay faster than my current charger I have plugged into the car.

Snagged this when the price was too good to pass up. I already had a PowerCore 10000 and the 13000 is great for longer trips & just handy to have around as a second charger (can swap between the two depending on which needs recharging). The build quality is great and it only takes slightly longer than the 10000 to fully charge (i.e. a few hours with the right charging unit); don’t mind the reviews complaining about absurdly long charge times—that’s just what happens when you use a basic 5W iPhone charger.Highly recommend this charger or any of Anker’s other offerings—you can’t go wrong with any of their chargers.

Real world usage (iPhone 7): I can make it 3-4 days with just this charger. If you’re taking a quick weekend trip, you can throw this in your bag and be totally covered without having to worry about power outlets. It’s been all over the world, in a number of climates, temperatures, pressures, etc, and has held up brilliantly. Good build quality and very reliable, but I also don’t abuse my belongings (take care of things, and they’ll take care of you). The form factor is perfect for a jacket pocket, and having 2 USB ports has saved me and my travel partners on several occasions when we’ve been in areas of poor service and the search for a good connection drains a phone battery or two (or three). There are slightly cheaper Anker chargers with similar form factors but only one USB port, as well as giant ones that have the same number of ports but much larger capacities; I’d recommend skipping all those in favor of this one. This unit in particular is in the Goldilocks zone between form factor, power capacity, and accessibility/connectivity.If you’re shopping around on Amazon for a portable charger, I recommend this one in particular and the Anker brand in general. Good, dependable, affordable stuff.

This is the second portable battery charger that I own from Anker. It is the BEST portable battery charger that I have ever used! My phone does not heat up, it’s very quick, and it can charge my phone and my mom’s tablet without a problem.I have the Anker PowerCore 20000 QC battery charger, and I saw this was on sale, so I purchased it for my USB port backpack.I can’t wait to use it for school, but I am definitely using it right now, when I carry a smaller purse. One thing that I do not like though, is the carrying case that it comes with, which is okay because I don’t plan on using it. The reason why I do not like it is because when I took the portable charger out, there’s a lot of lint that sticks onto it. If you’re big on cases or bags to carry your charger, I suggest buying a case for it.I added pictures of what comes in the box and comparing the size to my other Anker Portable Charger.

Update to a previous not so positive review. After speaking with Anker customer service, which EVERYONE was EXTREMELY helpful and understanding of my situation. Unless something major happens I will definitely remain a dedicated Anker customer.
